The difference between a general admission ticket and tours that include round-trip transport from Downtown.

Admission only vs. transport combos

Space Center Houston is in Clear Lake, 25–30 miles southeast of Downtown along I-45. A general admission ticket covers entry at the gate, not the ride there. If you don't have a car, look for a combo that departs from 1302 Dallas St or Bank of America Tower Downtown.

Inside the center

Independence Plaza, the Saturn V at Rocket Park and the NASA Tram Tour are the main draws. Arrive early on weekends and school holidays.
