How the city is organized

Inside the 610 Loop you'll find Downtown, Midtown, the Museum District, Montrose, the Heights and EaDo. Uptown/Galleria sits just west of the loop, and Space Center Houston is 25–30 miles southeast in Clear Lake.

Getting around without a car

The METRORail Red Line links Downtown, Midtown, the Museum District and Hermann Park. Reaching Montrose, the Heights, Uptown or Clear Lake means driving, taking a rideshare, or booking a tour that includes transport.
